About Gary Clark

Desolation Canyon 2009 047I am a native Coloradoan and I’ve lived in Fort Collins since 1971. I’ve seen Fort Collins grow from a sleepy town of 40,000 to a thriving city of 150,000.

I am a “townie” for sure. I went to O’Dea elementary, Lesher junior high, Fort Collins high, and Colorado State University.

Over the years, I have enjoyed biking, hiking, backpacking, water skiing, snow skiing, concerts at Red Rocks, Broncos games, and CSU games.

In the early 1990’s, I was on the original New West Fest and Brewfest committees. I’m thrilled that these events improved Old Town, and have grown and thrived over the years.

From 1990 to 2008, I threw myself into my family’s business, Scuba Schools International, a worldwide brand of scuba certification headquartered in Fort Collins. I helped build, manage, and sell the company, starting as a staff writer and finishing as President. I’m proud that our company grew 80% during the time I was involved.

In 2000, I married Bettie Greenberg. It was the best thing I ever did, and every day I’m happy that we found each other.

Currently, I’m a Realtor with Century 21 Humpal in Fort Collins. Bettie and I also own Rooftop Property Management, LLC. We own, lease, and manage five rental properties in Northern Colorado.
